The development working party of Capital Development Authority met with CDA chairman and discussed PC-1 development. The chairman approves it for the development of seven projects. The PC-1 idea has a total worth of 8421 million rupees, and it consists of different projects which include, infrastructure development, electrical and mechanical works, and provision of other civic amenities and services.
More than 6000 residential plots are present there, and the allottees of those plots were waiting for about 10 years for the start of the development work. But, unfortunately, there was not any work started. Now CDA is going to start the development by using own budget.
Some working to fix the barbed wire fence, boundary pillars, and warning boards, which are installed in different sectors, are also under consideration. After the changes made in the old map of all this renovation, the revised layout map ok sector I-12 was approved in 2019. Now all those issues have been resolved by the Capital Development Authority. Some progress on the development work can now be expected this year, which could also be better for the sake of the country as well. Not only these residential plots will be entertained but, an underpass and a flyover will also be constructed at Rawal Dam Chowk. This construction will help a lot to overcome the excess of traffic at Murree Road.
The meeting by CDA also approved the PC-II of consultancy services to have a look at the current infrastructure of Islamabad. Designing and implementing different plans of sectoral areas and major highways are under consideration. All these projects are very important for the betterment of the country and the development process of it. As mentioned, owners of the residential plots were waiting for the development to start. This development will also help those allottees by having their places ready and that too with better facilities over there.
